  • Prodigal by Tana Stone

“I know I have you, and I have no intention letting you go.”

Prodigal is the seventh book of the Raider Warlords of the Vandar series by Tana Stone.

Sloane is absolutely amazing! As a pilot from the resistance, she’s brave, smart, strong and has the heart of a warrior. Even more, I loved her defiance, stubbornness and determination. And her love for old school music and movies made her even more endearing. She’s an awesome woman and I loved her so, so much!

And Raas Ronnan of the Kyrie Vandar is one fearsome and dangerous male. The menacing warlord is vicious, lethal, possessive, bossy, arrogant and quite impatient. But Ronnan is also incredibly loyal to his people, fiercely protective and determined to fulfill his duty to bring the Lost Vandar to their rightful place. I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about the platinum-haired Raas!

I absolutely adored everything that happened between Sloan and Raas Ronnan! Sloane’s ship breaks down on a mission and the last thing she expects is to be rescued by an unknown Vandar horde led by the fearsome Raas Ronnan. From the moment they met, their attraction was undeniable and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Ronnan might be determined to convince himself and everyone around him that Sloan is nothing more than a prisoner and means to an end, and Sloan might be determined to get back to the resistance and her job, but their connection turns out to be deeper than either of them could expect. I adored those two together! I loved when they fought, when they teased each other and when they tried to best each other. Ronnan and Sloan might be so opposite but they were absolutely perfect for each other. And the passionate moments they shared were so intense and off-the-charts hot. Oh, those Vandar warriors with their skillful mouths, domineering natures and naughty tails… I couldn’t get enough!

In addition, the storyline was spectacular! The Vandar might have defeated the Zagrath but could such evil be gone for good? Even more, with the Kyrie Vandar – raiders whose ancestors were exiled from the galaxy – coming back to seek revenge and claim their place among the Vandar hordes, I was glued to the pages till the very end. And I cannot wait to know more about the platinum-haired warriors, especially Aydan and Kratos.

Overall, the story is another remarkable addition to the series! It’s filled with action, danger, suspense, twists, violence, drama, blazing hot passion and magnificent characters!

Prodigal was impossible to put down and I absolutely loved every page of it! Blurb

Dark. Deadly. Vengeful. The terrifying Vandar raiders with their menacing warbirds, lethal battle axes, and slashing tails are back – and they’re on the hunt for revenge.

Life as a female fighter pilot with the Valox resistance isn’t always easy, but it gets much worse when my ship dies on a solo mission. Then worse still when I’m rescued by hulking, bare-chested aliens who are nothing like the Vandar I fought with against the empire. The Vandar horde that snatches me from my ship might wear the battle kilts and inked skin of their counterparts, but they have no intention of treating me like an ally – or releasing me.

With platinum hair and dark hearts set on dominance and retribution, the raiders who capture me are what they call Kyrie Vandar – The Lost Vandar – raiders whose ancestors were exiled from the galaxy. Now they’ve returned to exact revenge on the Vandar who rejected them.

The horde’s warlord, Raas Ronnan, is certain that a female pilot who fought alongside the Vandar is the perfect pawn to lure them into a trap. He’s also convinced that forcing me to share his quarters and bed will provoke my cooperation. But the fearsome warlord has underestimated me and my ability to be coerced – or seduced.

I’m determined to escape, even as the Vandar brute eyes me like tempting prey. But can I slip from Ronnan’s velvet snare the more I learn about him and his adrift horde? Or will I end up becoming just as lost as the tortured Vandar warlord who stirs the depths of my soul? About the author

Tana Stone is a bestselling sci-fi romance author who loves sexy aliens and independent heroines. Her favorite superhero is Thor (with Aquaman a close second because, well, Jason Momoa), her favorite dessert is key lime pie (okay, fine, all pie), and she loves Star Wars and Star Trek equally. She still laments the loss of Firefly.

She has one husband, two teenagers, and two neurotic cats. She sometimes wishes she could teleport to a holographic space station like the one in her tribute brides series (or maybe vacation at the oasis with the sand planet barbarians).
