We're still in semi-lockdown in my corner of the universe (Canada).
We have 66% of our total population partially vaccinated
so hopefully, we'll be opening up soon.

Since kids under 12 can't be vaccinated yet, I'm mindful of my two toddler grandsons. I know I'm vaccinated, but I don't trust total strangers who might be close to me in public. So I'm continuing to wear my masks out in public. Hey, I've been sewing them for the past year, so I have lots of colors and patterns. Plus they help me control my allergies to all trees/pollens/wood smoke from campfires (we're campers). Plus I didn't get any colds last year--of course, I didn't get out much either. But I just finished a long-term, 6-week sub job for a maternity-leave at a high school, and we were all masked every day, all day. Lots of students got Co-Vid, but only a handful of teachers--luckily I wasn't one of them!

I hear you! I don't sew masks (or sew anything at all - grins) but I now have a wonderful collection of them.
Some of them are so very pretty.

And I am accustomed to wearing masks. I feel strange not wearing one, semi-naked, like I've left the house without a shirt.

We also live close to a primary school.
Until the little ones can get vaccinated, I suspect most people in our neighborhood will be wearing masks.
